Joan is made of fabric, then completely hand-painted. I painted her features using a combination of acrylics, oil pastels, watercolors, and colored pencils. Her hair is made of strained pink and orange yarn and pulled back into a bun. The bodice of her dress is made of black and white polka-dot fabric and the trim is hand-painted. She has a really full skirt with black tulle underneath, vintage lace trim, and a silver sparkly belt. She measures about 24" tall!
