This is my portrait of the Big Bad Wolf. He could go with the 3 Little Pigs OR Red Riding Hood. They will be listed separately. I found these oval frames at a thrift store and grabbed them up because I knew I wanted to do some portraits of some fairy tale characters! They were an ugly putty color, but I painted them dark brown with a gold over that to give a gold leaf look. The frames seem to be hand made, poured into a mold, so they aren't perfect, but I think that adds to the old look. I painted the Wolf with acrylics & oil pastels. I did a little bit of a crackle finish, but it is subtle and you may not see it in the photos. After that, I antiqued it and hopefully it reminds you of an old portrait that would be hanging on someone's wall. If you like these, I also have the 3 little pigs, Hansel & Gretel!
